Golden Rule

Most of us have heard of a moral principle known widely as the Golden Rule. This rule tells us to treat others the way we want to be treated. It is a good way to live, and provides guidance to engage with people using kindness and respect. Currently, there is a piece of this moral principle that is absent. This missing link is not being taught in conventional areas of our lives. What does this rule mean? To engage with strangers the way we want to be treated, we must consider how we want to feel. We need to know our values and how to treat ourselves with compassion first, then we can model that to others.

The lesson of self compassion often gets confused in the external world as selfishness. Loving ourselves should be instinctual and happen naturally. In today’s world, we are so bombarded by external forces that our natural instincts are not flourishing. At Fealing Authentic we believe everyone should make space for internal kindness, love and grace.

Our Golden Rule is meant to be a personal mantra. “Treat myself with love and grace to be my authentic self.

Our hope is that by adopting this personal rule, it will encourage every person to be the best version of themselves.
